Mint Product Quiz asks shoppers a few questions and recommends products from your catalogue, matched by tag, collection or pick. No waiting for a widget, no sold-out recommendations, and no surprise jump in price when your store gets busy.

From the first question to the cart
Build the quiz, place it with the theme editor, and watch which answers lead to sales.
The quiz is written into your page by your theme, so it shows straight away with no call to our servers. Answers are scored in the shopper's browser and the recommended products load from your own store.
Give each answer points for product tags, collections or specific products — including negative points to keep products out. Matches update automatically when you add or change products.
Highest points first; ties go to the product that matched more questions, then your chosen order. Sold-out products can be skipped, and a fallback collection fills the gaps, so results are never a dead end.
Each result has an Add to cart button with a variant picker. Shoppers can copy a link that reopens their results. Add the quiz to any page, or a pop-up button on every page.
Let an answer skip questions or end the quiz. Ask for an email before the results: a tagged Shopify customer is created, and email marketing consent is recorded only when the shopper ticks the box.
Where shoppers drop off, which answers they choose, which recommended products get opened and added to cart, and revenue from quiz-added items in paid orders.

Questions merchants ask
Do I need to edit my theme?
No. The quiz is a theme app block: one click opens your theme editor with it ready to place on any page. There's also a pop-up button you can switch on for every page. The quiz uses your theme's fonts, colours and buttons.
How does the quiz decide what to recommend?
You give each answer points for product tags, collections or products. When a shopper finishes, each product gets the points of every answer it matches. The highest total wins; on a tie, the product that matched more questions comes first, then the order you choose (newest, A–Z, or most in stock). Your fallback collection fills any remaining places.
What happens after 50 completions on the Free plan?
Until the 1st of next month (UTC) shoppers see a link to your fallback collection in place of the quiz, and the app shows you a notice. Nothing is charged automatically; upgrading brings the quiz back right away.
Does the email step subscribe everyone?
No. The consent box is never ticked in advance and can't be made required. Shoppers who don't tick it are saved as customers without email marketing consent, and existing consent is never removed. You can let shoppers skip the step.
What do you store?
Your quizzes, the products each quiz can recommend, and anonymous counts (starts, answers, clicks, add to carts). No cookies, no shopper identifiers. Emails go straight into your Shopify customers; we don't keep a copy. Details are on our privacy page.
Can I use it in my language?
Yes. Every question, answer, button and message is yours to edit.
